The Baku International Short Film Festival, founded by the Young Cinematographers Center in 2004, operated under the name START BISFF in previous years. Over the years, Baku BISFF has become a screening venue for films that have won awards and success at Cannes, Venice, Berlin Film Festivals and OSCAR. Baku BISFF includes raising interest in short films, which are considered the foundations of cinematography in our country, encouraging and supporting young cinematographers.
